I've been trying to make a clashing pair of earrings with red & pink for ages and finally the right colours arrived in a package from Mill House Millinery.
 
But which design to do? Stars won the day! Finished with sterling silver fisherman hook ear wires.
 
The leather stars have been created by hand using a leather cutting die (not a machine). The video gives an example of how I make this style of earring.
 
All leather used are from left overs from the fashion industry, that would usually go to landfill. I aim to use every little bit to create these beautiful and unique earrings and reduce waste in the process. You may find the odd blemish in the leather due to this.
 
The drop measures approximately 4 centimetres.
