I found a mix of black, white and grey scraps that I thought looked interesting. Amongst this collection was a mock snake skin print leather in black and white. I really wanted to pair this with a black leather to make a double layer design. 
 
After several design attempts I chose the tropical leaf design - all the summer vibes but with a twist, they are in monochrome!

You have the black & white mock snake skin print leather leaf on the bottom with a flash of black on top. Finished with sterling silver fisherman hook ear wires.

The leather leaves have been created by hand using a leather cutting die (not a machine). The video shows an example of how I make these styles of earrings.

All leather used are from left overs from the fashion industry, that would usually go to landfill. I aim to use every little bit to create these beautiful and unique earrings and reduce waste in the process. You may find the odd blemish in the leather due to this.

The drop measures approximately 9 centimetres.
